Launch Date For Samsung's Galaxy A54 and A34 Revealed

Now that the Galaxy S23 flagships have been released, Samsung's attention has turned to its next most premium series. There were rumors that Samsung may have decided to ditch the Galaxy A74 in favor of the Galaxy S23 FE, which would make the Galaxy A54 the most expensive phone in the A series this year.

The Galaxy A54 has already been leaked, including its renders and specifications. Samsung has now officially announced that the phone will be launched alongside the Galaxy A34 on March 16 at 12 noon.

Samsung has also given some vague details about both devices. They are both being manufactured in India and will have a seamless design with minimal bezels, a "clean camera layout," and a "premium glass finish." The clean camera layout is part of Samsung's apparent efforts to standardize designs across its product line. The Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 will feature a minimalist camera layout similar to that of the Galaxy S23 series. Additionally, a glass finish is a new feature as last year's Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A33 had plastic backs.

Apart from the official information, leaked specifications reveal that the Galaxy A54 will be powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset. It will have a 50MP + 12MP + 5MP camera setup at the back, assisted by a 32MP front-facing camera. The phone will feature a 6.4-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
